Would You Trust This Dog? (to be a nurse?)

Not really dog related or bichon related or animal related but I went to the doctor today. I'm glad I did, it's a blood clot. (see previous post for clarification and some nice pictures of a fat leg) Maybe superficial but we won't know till the ultrasound and I'm supposed to stay off of it as much as possible till Friday when I get the ultrasound. I'm off work with doctors excuse. Anyway notice the sort of strange look on the dogs face and the tongue sticking out, does he impress you as being really caring and trustworthy? Just kidding, everyone knows he worships the ground I walk on (as long as I'm devoting my entire being to him and possibly getting him CHEESE) and I love him more than I have ever let myself love a dog before. My cousin also lives next door in case I really need help with something.

So I went grocery shopping, and did as little walking as possible, took my doctors excuse by work and now I'm home contemplating my lack of new books. I can lay in the sun, riding the lawnmower doesn't do much for tanning the backs of your legs. If I do have a deep blood clot the doctor said something about self injections @ home with blood thinners but he was probably trying to mess with my head, not that he would do that but he is my cousin. We come from a family that didn't have dogs in the house in past generations, I have two dogs, my cousin has two dogs, my other cousins have a CAT, what is this world coming to?? tee hee hee

So I will probably be blogging and suntanning, I think it's OK if I walk a bit so will get some pictures, doctor said just to take it easy. I can see Dispatch plotting, he's thinking she can't move much and can't do much this means she can hold ME on her lap more and scratch my itchy spots and do the puppy massages we do and ask me if I love her and I'll wag my tail just so she keeps it up!

Well it's good to know that went to the doctor, at least you knew what really that is? We wont be guessing about it. Now that you're off from work, just hang around and blog! LOL:) Have a nice day!

I am glad it is not lyme. Now take my nursing advice here with a grain of salt. Do NOT RUB or massage your leg. You don't want the clot to move. And he isn't messing with your head. You do give self injections at home for blood clots.

Rest and love on that puppy. She is so cute.

Thanks Rae, I'm trying to keep leg as still as possible, dr poked on it a bit and that was bad enough. I do have a handy dandy little shelf to rest it on under my desk, when I talk on phone I put it on table which I imagine is quite a sight, good thing neighbors aren't that close.
My husband and daughter were like freaking out, I tried to explain that I was glad it wasn't lyme too.
Dispatch is a boy but he gets called a she all the time, it's because you can't hear his manly bark. :-)

Dispatch there is a time in our doggy lives when we are called to take care of our Mommies and this is your time. Make sure that she rests and don't make her walk around too much. Above all make sure that she has plenty of cheese nearby.

We hope your Mom gets well very soon.

Adorable pic! I'm glad you did go to the doctor. It didn't look like something to ignore. Don't overdue it. Take it seriously! We'll be ready to get hit with blogmania!

Sasha, I am trying so very hard to take care of mommy, I think she doesn't need to chew so much like when she had the whole wheat and mozerella cheese melted thingy but she ate almost the WHOLE thing! I did help her unload groceries and noticed we do have a new cheese supply though.
Mommy says thankyou for your concern, hopefully after the ultrasound mommy can walk around like a normal person again?

Well at least you know what it is and it can be dealt with and hey more blogging time.

That is a really cute photo of Dispatch, they always look so innocent while ploting.

SquirrelQueen I am glad to know what it is. I know it seems strange but I'm glad it's a blood clot. Lyme is like creepy and mind altering, or @ least in my case.
Thanks about Dispatch, I have a feeling he will get brushed today too!

Bell and Kimberly,
Hey this is Dispatch, I'm not supposed to give allergies but if mommy doesn't brush me trust me I leave little white doggie clumps of hair all over the place, that's the way it should be because dogs shouldn't be BRUSHED OR BATHED!! But for some insane reason mama insists on it. Too bad you can't go to Yuma anymore, my mama says she's been there lots.
Bo is sure cute but so are you Bell, I love big dogs, did I tell you that?
