This Mockingbird has been trying to get in the picture window since Saturday (see previous post). He's persistent if nothing else. The cats are all on the other side of the house, in fact they (6 cats) met me @ the door this morning when I let the dogs out to tell me their giant food dish was empty. Not that I'd want the cats to get the mockingbird but the bird has to QUIT @ some point?
Now I'm obsessive about my day off nap even though it's a gorgeous day in the mid 60s. Still nap time!

So do you have a big life-sized cut-out of a mocking bird's 'Brad Pitt' in your living room? Maybe growing a field of corn on the coffee table? He is persistant! A perch and feeder in the window would be entertaining.
No cut out or corn but Mr Mockingbird must find himself fairly attractive since that's what he's trying to get at? I should do a feeder but I'm afraid the cats would find it entirely too enchanting to resist. Maybe I should do a cut out of a cat in the window?
That is one persistant birdie! He really is in love with the reflection. If you want to scare him away maybe try the aluminum pie plate trick, one or two outside the window might work, unless he just likes the additional reflections!
Keep us updated on this guy.

Great, your an animal lover.

Sam thanks for joining. Look for me on your blog. Bradpetehoops thanks for stopping by. Yes it's evident I'm an animal lover except the mockingbird woke me up on my day off!!
SquirrelQueen mockingbird is still here but the cats have discovered him and sit in the windowsill, he did wake me up from the bushes this morning though. Good thing most mornings I have to get up before daybreak! He may be in love with his reflection.
